How to reach Ascona

Take the A2 motorway southwards and exit at “Bellinzona Sud”. Follow the signs for “Locarno-Lago Maggiore” and “Ascona”.
From Liguria and Piedmont: Take exit “Gravellona-Toce” from the A26 motorway. Follow the SS34 state road along the lakeside towards Cannobio, Brissago (CH), and Ascona. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area. It is permitted to drive up to the reception for check-in/check-out (on Via Borgo through the old town).

After you’ve unloaded your luggage from the car right outside the reception, we kindly ask you to park your car in the garage of “al Lago-Migros”. When reserved in advance, you’ll receive a parking card for the garage (rate: CHF 15.00 per day) from our reception team. Follow the lakeside road to the end and then turn left into Via Circonvallazione. After 600 metres, you’ll reach the parking garage.

If you’d like to travel by train, please select Locarno main train station as your final destination. From there, you can reach Ascona by taxi or bus (journey time by taxi approx. 10 minutes).

You can take the no. 311 bus towards Locarno from Bellinzona train station to Locarno main train station. From there, take the no. 1 bus operated by FART to Ascona Centro (bus runs every 15 minutes).

• Milan Malpensa airport (approx. 120 kilometres away)
• Zürich airport (approx. 215 kilometres away)
